Outbid notices will be sent instantly from the app. As you are bidding, if the item dollars turn BLUE, you will be winning at that time and it will be noted as such "WINNING". If your bid amount is NOT BLUE - you are NOT Winning. If your bid and the current bid are equal and not blue, you have have simply matched a previous high bidder's top amount. First high bid will be the declared winner at that time. So, with that said, it is to your advantage to enter your highest bid and be first at that price.
