Well, salt, gold, whatever needed weighing. Definintely the oldest set of scales I've ever seen. Original carrying case. Weight rope is broken, but otherise seems to be complete. The wooden rod is marked with number lines and dots. Possibly a miners scale. Not sure. Never seen one before like it.
